The meetings are a space to learn, collaborate and explore ways to improve families experiences of neonatal care, with a focus on Family Integrated Care. Any member of the group is welcome to bring something to SWIFIC for discussion, this could be an idea or new project, an issue or problem, or some new learning.

What is a Community of Practice ?

A Community of Practice (CoP) is a group of people who share a common interest or concern and come together to fulfill both individual and group goals. It is a space to share best practice and create new knowledge to make improvements. Everyone is seen as an equal and valued member of the group and can contribute from their own lens and experience.

Where and when do the groups run?

We meet online four times a year. We occasionally have in-person meetings when working on a specific project.
