Information about the neonatal unit

The Neonatal unit is on the 1st FLoor, opposite the Delivery Suite entrance in the Women's Centre.

Nurse looking after on shift by shift basis.

Ward rounds are daily from 9am daily.

Ronald MacDonald rooms .
Two bedrooms on unit.

Sitting room with tea and coffee making facilities, microwave and fridge.
Lockers available.

Infant feeding specialist midwife

Play area in parents sitting room.
Visiting policy

Parents and siblings are welcome on the neonatal unit 24 hours a day.

Family and friends are welcome on the neonatal unit between 1400 - 1600 hrs daily.

Total of 3 per family (includes parents visiting as well).
No children under 16 unless siblings.
-
No visiting with colds, sore throats, cold sores, D & V and 48 hours post D & V.
