 Information about the neonatal unit

  • When parking in the Princess Anne Wing car park go up the corridor and the Neonatal Unit is your left hand side.

  • You will be met by a member of the Neonatal team who will take you through to your baby and the nurse caring for your baby will give you an up to date explanation of your baby’s care and condition.

  • If you were to have any concerns during your baby’s stay on the neonatal unit please speak to the nurse in charge.

  • Ward rounds happen every morning starting at approximately 9am

  • We have four ensuite flats available to parents. These are allocated to parents who are preparing to take their babies home but if any flats are available we allocate them to parents who wish to stay.

  • We have a parents coffee room which has a microwave and tea and coffee making facilities.
