  •  5 double bedrooms on the neonatal unit
  • Additional accommodation may be available in the Hospital residential village
  • Overnight beds for use at cubicle cot sides  available

  •  Kitchen –where food and drinks can be prepared
  • Sitting room –TV , dining room table and internet access
  • Quiet room – sofas, telephone point

Mobile Phone Use

There is a designated area for mobile phone use

Telephone and Computer Access

Yes –guest  wi-fi  available upon request

Breastfeeding facilities and support

  • Hospital grade breast pump in every cot space
  • Curtains/screening for privacy provided in every cot space
  • Separate breastfeeding /expressing room available
  • Daily named NNU breast feeding advisor
  • Infant feeding co-ordinators available Monday –Friday

Facilities for Siblings

Playroom  and travel cot for use in family rooms

Parent Support Groups

  • SNUG  (Supporting neonatal users and graduates).Coffee morning once a month and cot side peer support.
  • Children’s centre visits first Monday of every month
  • Children’s centre facilitated parent craft session once a month
